Anyone else notice that when they're dressing Plainly, but outside an acceptable paradigm, they get more attention?
I get lots of compliments on my Kilt. Nobody even notices me when I'm dressed Femme.
So it's weird. Being a Guy is okay and comfortable as long as it's Very Clear I'm the Alternative to the mainstream guy, and holding me to those standards would be Absurd.
Mass shooting hot take
The common thread in all the mass shootings we've seen is that it's always the same Angry White Boy behind it.
Like, can we finally admit to that? Toxic Masculinity produces Radioactive Waste in the form of Mass Shooters. Capitalism makes their lives miserable. Easily available weapons Just Like in Call Of Duty and a media ready to fuss over them for a month...
Well, fuel, air, compression, spark. Boom.
White Men Kill People.
[wikipedia quote] "There are also cases of accidental reverse Turing tests, occurring when a programmer is in a sufficiently non-human mood that his conversation unintentionally resembles that of a computer."
idk what wikipedia thinks "a sufficiently non-human mood" is supposed to mean but it sure is a description of me at all times
Gender?
Is it messed up that I'd be most comfortable in a masculine presentation and social paradigm as long as I was very Clearly Not Male?
Like, I wanna get to the point where even Transfolks can't tell where I'm coming from and where I'm headed, and I've always kinda been a Boy, just with Boobs.
And that's a Weirdass place to be. But at the same time, I feel like I lived long enough as None of the Above.
I think I've earned 'All of the Above'
Southern Mass's local machine healer and part time witchdoctor.
Tiny motorcycles, magic potions, machine tools, progressive rock, trance states, and hand sharpened drill bits. Oh, and I read Tarot. Probably 18+ just to be sure.
