@Siphonay@octodon.social I remember playing D&D, finally going against and defeating a dragon for the first time ever, and casually mentioning it to the game store clerk while buying refreshments during a break.
"Oh, what kind of dragon?" he asked.
"An evil BLACK DRAGON!" I replied.
And then with a not so subtle look I was reminded of the clerk's dark skin. Then he laughed with a "Gotcha!"
aheheheheh
I am Basteel Nockear, the Great and Terrible, and this city shall thank me for rescuing them from this sham of democracy and instituting My Divine Will upon them. All shall worship me or be destroyed.
aaaaaaand Pathfinder campaign over!
So. Turns out, when you realize you have the power to defeat interdimensional pollution unicorns, fire/acid/poison-breathing dragons, and cloud giants, and are in possession of two god-crystals that can open rifts in the fabric of space-time, the pitiful mewling of ordinary mortal "government officials" means nothing, and it takes little effort to end them.
@Pizzazz Yeah, bards seem better at debuff/utility spells, as well as a Duly Authorized Wielder Of The Cleric-On-A-Stick (Wand of Cure Light Wounds). As long as you had fun!
... Vicious Mockery? I don't recognize that as a Pathfinder ability, only 4e/5e D&D...
On one side, facing three dragons and a cloud giant attacking the town. On the other side, four well armed and armored dwarf guards who are angry at me for causing three dragons and a cloud giant to attack the town. I am smol, flying, invisible, and I have a goblin friend ready to jump in and help. Or make a quick exit.
I am good at this.
We found a goblin trying to blow up a magical tower, so we blew it up instead, stole the magical crystal, let the shrapnel kill innocent bystanders, fought off extra planar pollution unicorns who probably had a legitimate beef. Now we're literally flying away to avoid any responsibility.
We're great at being politicians.
Ratfolk standing on a goblin's shoulders in a trench coat. Yes. Rolled a 2 on Disguise. Guard hmmm'd suspiciously, rolled a 1 Perception. We snuck in successfully.
@vahnj Two bags of holding, a handy haversack, and a portable hole. So far.
Time for some ALCHEMY! Heading out to hopefully an extra-long game, wrapping up Pathfinder campaign.
Let's.
Get.
Revolutionary.

So, there's some hubbub going on? I'm totally missing it, whatever's happening. As on birbsite, I consider that a win as far as curating my follow list.
Time to hug some soft boys, I guess.

Ooo, a triple rare, double golden pack! Though slight feelsbad moment because I had just crafted 2 of those rares for a paladin deck I was trying out.
That Stonehill Defender turns out to be a nice card, the times I've played it. Why yes, I would like a second Tirion, or a second Tarim, thank you.

@Pizzazz Report how it goes! Also relevant is any other tabletop system experience you have.
