Initiative I-1552 is a discriminatory anti-trans bathroom bill. They're trying to put on the ballot using tricks like calling it "safe spaces" and asking folks to sign a petition. Be careful about any petitions you're asked to sign. More info:

Sudden tinge of nostalgia for my very first IBM-compatible PC of my own: an upgraded used Compaq Deskpro 386s. It had some kind of cpu upgrade chip in it which made it a 486 of some type, 4mb of ram, a 100mb hard drive, some kind of SVGA built-in, and a 14.4k internal modem. I put a drop of orange paint on the bottom of my minis so I can easily tell them apart from friends'. If there's a resale collectible value on these things I don't care; if anything it means I'm more likely to keep them.
