I'm so glad I figured out "demisexual" as a part of my identity because it is so much easier to understand my sexuality now. I can be reserved sexually and am kind of easy to shut down sometimes in situations where I'm not 100% comfortable or on board.

But last night on my post-group date I kept feeling how a simple hand on my thigh from an established partner would make me gasp and melt into them.

It's so nice to have this word that reinforces that I CAN be very sexual if I'm happy and with someone I feel totally safe with. It is so easy to feel like "my sex drive is a failure" when it can be fantastic. It just needs the right environment to flourish.

And seriously I love how *pliable* I feel to a loved one's touch. I am soft and warm and like putty to a caring hand on my thigh.

@AzureHusky I totally get this. It takes every ounce of resistance I can muster to not just melt in that situation.
