I'm going to address something publicly about the , because I feel it's something I had to confront and others may be struggling with it as well.

One of the questions that was important to me in the survey was "Would you be willing to put aside past issues with people in order to work on this project. I said yes, I would.

Then I saw someone join the group who I do not get along with. Someone whom, I feel, in every interaction I've had with them, I'm being constantly told "You're a shit person for being a cis-guy and nothing will ever change that, give all your money to my patreon, you worm."

I'm not looking forward to working with them. It's giving me some anxiety, and I'll do what I can to minimize our interactions. That said, I still intend to work on this project, as I feel it's important.

I realize that they can give perspectives I cannot, and while I may disagree with them on many things, they can still make beneficial contributions to the project.

It's not an easy ask. And I'm sure there's a few people looking at what they put for that answer and saying that "No, maybe I can't put aside those past differences." But, I think it's worth it.

Anyways, that's my bit on today. Hopefully you find it valuable.

I feel like I need to elaborate on this by @PaulFerence .

I'm not hoping for us to all be able to work together, I hope that we will be able to work in clusters with people we're comfortable working with, and then the member in our group who are comfortable working with some other people can deal with that communication.

Hopefully we can mesh, to allow those who don't particularly like each other to work towards the same goals, without directly working together.

Think Work Groups.
