that is to say, people on the internet have a startling lack of compassion. partly because of the disconnect, partly because they're asshole in digital or meatspace.
now is as good a time as any to remind yourself that a) not everyone is an asshat b) it's perfectly okay to disconnect if you need to. taking care of yourself > staying up to date on the news.

I'm just gonna toss this out here, but what if, WHAT IF, we had a board of directors that were focused on implementing anti-harassment tools and WCAG usability instead of what would make the service more like the features suggested by other social media options that cause them to continue to hemorrhage users by ignoring their needs?
Anyways, the next #ForkOffTogether meeting is tomorrow. :D
