I don't care for Seth Rogen as a general rule, but I do like the effort the Seth Rogen Green Hornet movie put into capturing this idea.

Also that it leaned all the way into how silly it is, as a premise.

All you had to do was frame it like modern versions of The Green Hornet - long-suffering hypercapable minority props up privileged white chowderhead as cover to do good.

Still mad about how badly Disney screwed the pooch on an easy layup like The Lone Ranger in this, the year of our Lord Two Thousand and Eighteen.
