A story in the paper today illustrated a peculiar blind spot in Canada's firearm laws:

'100 gun parts found in Saanich dumpster were seized in 2017'.

Legally, individual barrels and breaches do not constitute a firearm, and therefore are not subject to control.

Just seems of to me is all, particularly the breaches part.
