any other primarily-Windows people every now and then install Linux and like. play a fullscreen Youtube video or some other completely innocuous task and say "oh wow, look at that. just like a real operating system"

The scary thing Linux distros for me is, like

If I try something ambitious in Windows and fuck something up, I can usually fix it. I can work backwards and undo it

I feel like if I type one wrong thing into a Linux terminal it's like "welp I've irreversibly ruined this installation, time to completely start over"

I keep thinking about how bad I wanted to get Warframe working on Linux and how much I wanna try it again, but it's like 3-4 hours of work every attempt, haha

- ordered a Magic NS with two-day shipping. waited over week with no tracking and zero contact from seller. Prime expired while waiting. got a refund

- had my friend order it with his Prime a couple days ago, two-day shipping. the tracking on the website now says "USPS attempted to deliver it and couldn't." no slip outside, no doorbell rang, nothing

can I please just. have my fucking thing, haha
