so it turns out that my binding has atrophied the muscles between my ribs. Doc says binding really isn't an option anymore. I now have a referral for physical therapy and a prescription for muscle relaxers, and have had about eight tubes of blood drawn. 3 ssts, a red top, 3 EDTAs, and a heparin green top.
I'm getting a full damned chromosome and dna panel. HLA typing, chromosome analysis, and a BRCA+. Along with a gorram rpr, ana, cmp, cbc, and a lupus cascading reflex panel.

Doc isn't taking chances since I've lost three relatives to breast cancer (one of which was actually a bad combination of chemotherapy and a lupus flare up)
OH. AND I’M GETTING A MAMMOGRAM. Fucking JOY.
Maybe all this will show Aetna that top surgery will cost them less in the long run.

@Silviu oh good. still augh. I had a mammogram once, it was a bit painful but not too bad. mostly it's just kind of hilarious. "well just flop that up onto this platform, and now we're gonna squish it between two plates and take pictures, this isn't awkward AT ALL"

@Silviu if it helps, I imagine cisbros having to get something similar done to their testicles and it makes me giggle heartlessly. I don't know if they do, they probably don't, but the image is still kind of hilarious.

Oh, and the spot on my chest i was worried about? much to my embarrassed relief, is a skin tag that has an ingrown hair under it. Doc said go nuts with tweezers.
