@doubtingtom In my case, I hide who I follow because it's an option in my profile and I don't want people to do the follower-shaming trick, but - people don't seem to do that here, or at least, not as much?

I have predicted the death of Twitter before and I have been wrong before, but banning links to other social media sites has the stench of desperation.

I'm hoping that this is what breaks the spell and gets a critical mass of people to leave, because it's a site that has been getting increasingly hostile towards its user base for nigh on a decade, and eventually you have to walk out for the sake of looking after yourself.

I continue to be rather baffled by film nerds and other kinds of nerd who actually follow press tours and eat up every stray utterance the cast and crew toss out. This doesn't feel healthy?
