It is possible I undercooked them, though thirty minutes on the pot is a long time and fit the instructions. So, yeah. Struck out there.
@Phorm I'd miss you!
But if you're talking about how no one would be able to contact people on here who care about you (we all do!) then yeah, that's a thing I worry about.
@stevewmorris This is fursecution
This 2007 interview with Dwayne Johnson still blows my mind.
He went to Comic-Con promoting the Get Smart movie, and met some fans who told him he should play Black Adam. And he was like, "clearly these fans know what they're talking about."
@MexicanYenta Linear time: sucks
Reminders to those of us who suffer from Seasonal Depression:
* Get as much sunlight as you can. If that's impossible, try to get full-spectrum bulbs for your dwelling, or a stand-alone light that will help, with exposure.
* You're not a bad person. Your brain is just mean.
* Find fun activities to occupy your time while it's harder to go outside. Reading, binging shows and movies, taking a bath or shower, playing games either alone or with others. It's simple, but *do*, don't just sit&worry!
@dogunderwater That's good! Rest up, and I hope you're back on the road soon.
@dogunderwater Jesus Christ, I hope you're all right!
@leask Damned unfair!
@daveexmachina this is genuinely impressive.
@stevewmorris I hope so!
@MexicanYenta Hell yeah
re: Spoilers for The Menu
@AdamP See, my interpretation of this is not the dish, but the specific memory in the chef that it invoked: his first time as a cook, where he fell in love with the art of cooking. We see the photo of him as Employee of the Month at a burger joint on the wall.
She chose that not because it was a cheeseburger but because it reminded him of a time he cooked out of love, instead of out of trying to win the approval of people he hates.
The end is here: My weekly column on final comic book issues, "Dust to Dust", goes live on the site starting today!
And we begin with the end of Preacher, and what 'being a man' actually means in Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's series: https://shelfdust.com/2023/01/06/dust-to-dust-becoming-a-man-in-preacher-66/
re: Today I am learning to program DAOs
@mcc Shame, I was really pumped to see your version of Dragon Age Origins
@stevewmorris They definitely have a Claremonty vibe
@siege "All bearded men have written a book on average" is false; Alan Moore, who writes the equivalent of one novel per panel description, is an outlier and should not have been counted
Skunk lady! Writer sometimes. Numbers person other times.
