deltarune
Aw geez. I just realised King Dad reflects some of Bad Susie's mannerisms (even repeating one of her lines, word for word)
And like, I think it's a stretch to say this is canon, but you know my opinion that Susie is the actual protagonist of DELTARUNE.
And like, what if that entire character was metaphor for her overcoming her guarded, antisocial tendencies and reconnecting with the part of her that can make friends and trust other people (Lancer?)
Except now it's 10:30 and I haven't done literally anything at all and I'm not sure if I *can* do literally anything at all today except go back to sleep, except I can't even do that because my sheets are covered in cat vomit
Anyway, the cat puked all over my bedding before I even got out of bed today and now I'm not sure I'm even going to leave the apartment today, except I have to if I want to do laundry now and that's gonna make me late for work forcing me to use time off for fucking sheets
Earlier today, they suggested I could just fork ANOTHER copy of the control software for this new special case.
Like I want to have to maintain six independent copies of everything every time we make a change.
I got opinions on people unnecessarily making things more complicated, and by extension, my life worse.
And they're not quiet opinions.
@Flora@meemu.org @Nurbs didn't get to say it earlier because my morning was all hecked up, but good luck! I'm sure you're gonna do just fine!

re: deltarune, undertale
Just wanted to tack one more thing on this. We know your (the player's) SOUL is in Kris. We strongly suspect Kris is soulless because of certain mannerisms, and the ending mirroring the soulless endings of Undertale. Also this, which states that their body "contains a human SOUL (yours)"
Again parallels here to UNDERTALE's end, where the only way to recover the world from the ERASE/DO NOT ending is to sell your soul to the First Human.
I can't go to hell - I'm all out of vacation days.
Birds are good. Computers are bad. I'm too old for this.
