QWERTY

Making up these big QWERTY boards so my kid can learn how to scam efficiently and eventually use a keyboard.

Kids with DS have low muscle tone, which often means poor finger dexterity. So in this case teaching him to hunt and peck is practical.

What did you do this morning?

I made a cute sorting activity for a girl with autism. :3 awoo.space/media/aBzCtXCV8lVYo

P.S. This is Nugget. I've had her since I was seven. I've started snuggling with her again at night because sometimes being an adult means making comforting compromises.

CW: Diabetes, death mention

This is what keeps me up at night.

Hi friends, how are people doing today?

I got a lot of my paperwork done yesterday, so I'm feeling a little less stressed. Slowly working through my CPR/First Aide training now.

I understand this is a stressful time for a lot of people. I'm here if you want to talk, or if you don't want to talk but would like hugs. *hugs offered*

Here is a cute kitten in a dumb pyramid hat. Enjoy!

New profile pic.

Also, have a selfie. My shirt has UFOs on it. You're welcome.

I really like this person's illustrations.

And I really like this character's design/hair (white/masc character). It's kinda similar to mine haha.

Got to do arts and crafts this week!

My kid was on vacation this week, so I spent the week making educational materials for him.

As old-school as laminating and hand-binding books is, the process is really relaxing. And empowering! It's cool to be able to make customized materials for him on site.
