I think the reasoning is that hormonal treatment is cheaper and easier on the body than a major surgery. It's more functional reasoning than emotional or empathetic.

Black Panther was really, really good. But I had some mixed feelings, pretty well expressed by Killmonger's final words: "I would rather be dead than live in bondage."

Yeah, it's super gross. It's transphobic, and it also reduces cis women to their ability to bear children (& erases those who cannot or will not have children).

I didn't go to Pantheacon in San Jose this year. Couldn't afford it.

@erinbee I think it being elk blood is especially gross to me, because cute forest animals (though in general meat is icky to me). Just CW blood in the future. :)
