@kit that's perfectly understandable. I'm just too embroiled, I think. Also following too many artists/comics folk there.
@guerrillarain ooh, that sounds pretty dang appealing. Nothing quite compares to the blood of enemies as a cosmetic.
@gingerrroot Oh cool! Yeah, that is definitely important and much needed work. I wish you good luck in your field. :)
Yeah, it definitely is!! It helps a lot to have a basic understanding of the kinds of disabilities my students have, how to best communicate with them, and how to address any behavior issues that might come up.

Have you tried using timers? I sometimes use them in situations like this. 15 min for the "fun" activity (playing morrowind) and 15 min for the "work" activity. Or whatever interval makes sense.
@gingerrroot You're welcome! :D
That sounds super cool! That's a good (albeit difficult) age group to work with. Is Title IX just about discrimination in sports based on gender or does it extend to other activities too?
I work in special education myself, but I went to school for psychology so I'm always interested in what people are doing in the world of counseling.
@gingerrroot Wow, you're so pretty!
I think I was following your old account, but welcome non-the-less. :3
It's very cool that you're studying counseling. Is there a particular population you want to work with?
@catoutofbed I'm not sure what to make of it, but I love every aspect of this story regardless. :3
MH+
I am doing some MH processing with the workbook Leaving Loneliness. It focuses on attachment style and methods for forming Earned Secure Attachment as an adult.
Anyway as an exercise we're supposed to write our "Attachment Story". I'm almost done and I'm up to 3,377 words. I'm already past a NaNoWriMo day of output! Which is good, I think. :P
@SCP1471 hmmm because they are cute and good and misunderstood, just like trans ppl
