Embrace it, dear Pan
coming out survey
I haven't come out about gender, but when I came out as bi 12 years ago (age 14), my parent's told me "no you're not".
I continued to come out to them each year until they finally believed me at age 18.
What got me thinking about this was my roommate saying "I can't imagine you being subservient in a relationship."
Which is just... Super weird to me. Because a) why do I come across one way to her and a different way to others? And b) her concept of me (strong-willed, self-assured) is so different from my self concept. How am I giving off such a different impression?

Is living with Avery's parents a viable short term plan until you can find different housemates?
