So I've been working on a model of myself for VRChat, and I've reached the point of testing it and, aaaaa?
This feeling of seeing something that feels close to seeing myself is intensely powerful. Looking down and seeing paws was wonderful enough, but these are my paws.
Twitter has started trying to recommend me lists to follow recently, and these two are... ...
And then I did it again... while the first one was the general concept I originally had, I think this one better captures the power and oomph I wanted to express...
... I felt a spontaneous need to roar earlier, for some reason. I think it's a dragon thing.
But since it's the dead of the night and this vessel doesn't suit that sort of thing, I drew it instead.

I saw two versions of standard-fat "blue" milk a few days ago for sale, where the only distinction was the price of the fucking bottle.
Standard blue: 3.99NZD
"Plant-based" bottle: 4.69NZD
I don't know if this is consumerism masquerading as environmentalism, or capitalism defiling environmentalism.
Or both.

That thing where you spend time just staring at your reflection in VR, focusing on that image being your body, the feeling you'd expect and that imagery being overlaid on you, how you can see it match your movements... ... all until that feels like it's you.
