I vividly remember the Graeco-Latin vocabulary coming more easily to me when I was younger simply because it's all composed of recurring parts and fairly straightforward to figure out the meaning of once you know how it works, whereas the more "basic" parts of English have lots and lots of individual, unique roots with many different, sometimes blatantly contradictory meanings at once (given that that's where everything that makes the language tick is at).

@kobi_lacroix@snouts.online Totally. Presentation isn't gender at the end of the day, and there are plenty of folks who use pronouns that don't line up with what "traditionally" fits them gender-wise.
