@Zeny@snouts.online Honestly, probably part of the reason why everything's been so nostalgia-based for the past decade almost, even for our own generation? It's much easier to just ignore the block of [MEMORY_CORRUPTED] that most of the '00s are to most of us and continue on from the times we still clearly remember, than it is to try to remember that whole mess and work with it directly.

Probably also why that whole thing is just skipping straight from Y2K to the late '00s now.

@Oneironott I feel that super hard. Everything about me just feels so much more... complete since I started? Helps that it reawakened a bunch of interests that had been withering by the sidelines for years before that too, partially trying to find myself without being able to fully identify what was wrong, partially in the quest to make myself appeal to others/fit in with social circles I was in at the time.
