I don't expect everyone to have empathy for all living creatures, but if you support the torture & eradication of animals just 'cause you don't like them, I'm not gonna trust or like you.
my spiritual view
I believe that all religious texts are suspect. Humans cannot help but be wrong and have views filled with prejudice. Those that achieve certain amounts of enlightenment can help guide another's enlightenment, but taking their word as sacrosanct leads to willful blindness

I feel like the further and further I come to my own spiritual understanding, the less and less I can explain it without personal prejudices of the listener potentially getting in the way. I see why so many people are so private about their spirituality.

Nightmare; firearm & arson mention
Had a nightmare that a former abuser was after us, that we were gonna burn down the entire house to get away from her, and that she came at us with a gun. I managed to wrest the gun from her, tho. Then the dream kinda just ended awkwardly.
Also, I slept all day. Yay.
