Real talk I want to be serious a second here. Are you just starting out drawing? Good! Don't stop. Seriously, that's the only actual mistake you can make. Look up Jackson Pollock, if you are not already at least passingly aware. He was a professional artist and honestly I think his work looks like a spirograph exploded.

The only thing you can do wrong is to do nothing.

You won't get better if you stop, and you won't get better if you don't do a new thing. The new thing doesn't have to be big, it just has to be something you don't think you can do.

Honestly? It won't go well. I'm guilty of this! For example, I don't do hard lines. If i did it more, I'd be faster and better, but I don't. You have to suck at something to be good at something.

So...if you're new and unhappy--this sounds weird to say--good. Come back for seconds. Get a bigger plate next time, and every time after that, until you're the one cooking the feast. Yeah?

Personal challenge to every new, growing, blossoming artist who reads this: THRASH ME! I'm not trying to make myself out like some kind of titan--But I want you to outdo me somehow. Doesn't matter really what way, but you should look back at me and think "I could do that thing he did, but better" and mean it.
