Silly complaints about a store going downhill
I liked a 'deals' store near my walf and I called Cazboys cause they had a 30/90 side with items between 30% and 90% off retail price for overstock/returns/destock, often even brand new items cheap - got my new Logitech mouse there for super cheap, discounted even off the discounted Sam's Club pricing. The other side was bins, items at $7/ea the first day and discounting in price every day til like $0.50/ea on Wednesday, closed Thursday to restock it.

But that bins side closed and they've changed it to I guess their much more profitable Bidding King's thing, for online local bids. And as a result, the tech side of the 30/90 has dwindled to uselessness, and even the food side I liked lost nearly everything besides discount gift sets. It's a wasteland of hardware items I don't need that cost more than Harbor Freight for the same thing, and cheap meh clothes, and other overpriced items.

I know this is a silly complaint because it's just a store, but I valued having the options and have scored items for friends for cheaper even with shipping than it'd cost otherwise. Even got more ceiling lights for my walf for CHEAP, like 20% of their retail cost, from the bins side, and it just feels like taking another avenue of getting things I wanted without paying exorbitant corporate 'fake inflation' prices away from average folks. Derp.
re: Silly complaints about a store going downhill
@ceralor I don't think this is a silly complaint. It is reasonable to be frustrated that a store that used to meet your interests no longer is and even if you understand the motives it can be frustrating (but then I still mourn Radioshack no longer being a thing)
