While the Nazis did take some cues from the US, and Hitler did admire how the US oppressed Black and indigenous people, saying "Nazis learned everything they did from the US" is wildly ahistorical and erases centuries of genocide against Jews in Europe before the Holocaust.

@BathysphereHat Ugh, that canard again. gaaaaaah. Yeah, and also there is pretty compelling evidence Hitler didnt think much of the USA in general or considered the nation a deeply divided podunk local power and he had bigger fish to fry. The idea he was taking extensive notes on techniques from the USA sort of ignores some very big historical contexts.

@BathysphereHat Like, I swear some people are so used to thinking of the USA as a global major power they have trouble conceiving the country was not that highly considered or thought of as important. A curiosity or interesting, maybe, but Hitler cared more about other things.
