@angrboda had a coworker stop a meeting the other day to opine on how scary me too and 'mob justice' is. Two other men in the meeting but I had to shut him down myself. Not something I'm gonna forget. Women will remember not just who was openly awful but who was complicit.

Read through some live blogging of the senate hearing and it's so vile. They can never let us forget that to men, we're second class citizens who deserve to be abused and treated like worthless garbage.

I'm surprised CBP would give him any grief given his overt love of racism, but he definitely seemed like the kind of guy who drew his own license on a piece of cardboard.

@angrboda so stonewall jerkoff beats us to the front of his line and sits there a while. I had seen the driver and he looked... like a gaunt faced neo nazi tbh. After a few mins he flips on his 4 ways and has to drive over to the CBP office - basically a holding area (we've had to do this before w/ Abe but for a US citizen it is very much not standard). No clue what his deal was, but extremely fuck him.

So we were waiting at the border to come back into the US (long lines of cars queued to go through basically toll booths where CBP asks you questions) and we kept ending up next to this pickup that was all bondo and duct tape with a big confederate flag mounted on a pole attached to the frame. NY plates. The dude is using 2 kettle bells as truck nuts. It was... a lot.

I would visit Canada a lot more if the drivers on the QEW had just a smidge less bloodlust. IKEA was a good trip! We got a lot of stuff.

I watched a ton of Overlord last night while I was working and man, it suuuucks how that show handles women, but I'm almost done with it so I guess I'll keep watching? IDK.

@angrboda I'm 32 and I (nominally) host a tf podcast and I still can't reconcile YKINMK with folks who like women punishing, crying, body horror / identity death.

Abe just reminded me about the only episode of black mirror that we've watched (the Star Trek one) because we heard it was horny. It's extremely not horny and I hated it enough to validate my bad opinion of the series in general. I think that was definitely a moment of like 'I might share a fetish with people but for some folks it's functionally just not the same fetish'
