Trying to decide between regular bee and plant bee for a story

Something I'm working on is accepting compliments without refuting them or downplaying them. I'm finally getting that self hatred makes me a worse friend and partner and maybe I should just accept it when support is given

I wish I could just be sad get up and move on without it igniting a cycle of depression around me that makes it incredibly hard to climb out of the hole

I legitimately don't know how to handle being upset in a way that won't hurt anybody. It's like the number one thing I struggle with in my life and it always just dominoes into so many repercussions every time I express sadness that I feel like I'm drowning
