Drawing horny stuff can be kind of a bummer when you're questioning whether your porn output inherently feeds into too much negative shit / stereotypes. Specifically I'm kind of hung up on whose gaze I'm catering to as a queer woman drawing porn of women that's ultimately consumed primarily by dudes.

I feel like the hardest thing to buy for someone else is probably a dress, followed by shoes - and yet, 2 people on my list are getting some kind of shoes, probably.

@angrboda the fact that the character limit on here is so much higher than twitter makes me want to do something to encourage collaborative fiction - I used to have a lot of fun doing that.

The parallels between FA and twitter are so huge and obvious - you'd think since furry as a subculture has been dealing with the problem of what happens when your primary social site is a diseased behemoth with inertia as it's only redeeming (?) feature for so long, we'd have some kind of solution.

Had a really good stream last night where I got to chat w/ a bunch of cool folks about emotional / metaphorical tf topics and also about the creative process and balancing work / life / generative stuff. It healed me several HP, haha.

Just watched the last episode of Recovery of an MMO Junkie And it's so good and pure, whugh

One intrusive thought I keep dealing with is the worry that everything that happened this year has fucked me up in some irreparable way that I'll never manage to shake.

Even beyond that, the idea of being on some kind of trauma treadmill where I'm constantly working to put away old stuff while new stuff keeps happening is rough.

Went to a show to see St. Motel and Jimmy Eat World and it was way better than I expected! I've seen both of them in concert before (jimmy forever ago) but they were as good if not better.

I've debated putting the address for this account up on twitter but I'm thinking maybe I'll wait a while and keep this much smaller / chiller / more manageable. It's nice to have somewhere to post WIPs without stressing, if nothing else.

Okay, I got the comic entirely lettered, but it looks like I'm going to have to add a transitional page where the monologue I'd written didn't flow right. A little frustrating but I'm going to majorly stylize it so it's not a super heavy lift.
