I finished the first Southern Reach book on the flight to LAX; I'm reading the second one now. The first was very roadside picnic meets SCP, but I like both of those things generally so I was happy with it. At this rate I'll have to pick up the third in NZ if I can find it.

@angrboda Abe is still flying and has been for pretty much the entire day. LHR to LAX is like a 12 hour flight. Our flight tomorrow (LAX to AKL) is 12 hours, too. It takes him an entire day's worth of hours to fly home. If he wasn't flying with me he would probably go the other direction, but it's just as long.

My flight has wifi and now it seems much less onerous and lonely because I get to talk to Therian

Checked my bag and past security - getting ready to board in a bit. Excited for LA, and Abe, and then on to NZ tomorrow!

Yesterday I burned a racist so bad on Twitter she deleted her account. I feel like I banished her, haha.

I had to go back out to my car for something late in the evening and the stars were really clear and bright. I spent a few minutes standing outside with my legs in capris and crammed into tall winter boots looking at the constellations. Then I remembered that it was cold and I wasn't wearing a jacket.

Got the majority of my packing done, laundry is done, and I did my journal. Not a bad night! I feel pretty good about my level of readiness for leaving Friday 💪🏻

Okay so Abe's sister's packages are 2/3 of my duffel bag, whugh. Other than that I feel like I'm using the 'right' amount of space and I'm on track to get everything I need squeezed in.

Heck yeah I found my outlet converter for Australasia which means I don't have to buy a new one 😸

Anyway work is slow so let's dish on fun stuff. Do you have to consider the end product of a TF super hot to like the media its in, or can you enjoy process up to a certain point and disengage after that?

I was on twitter for two minutes and picked a fight with a super racist Irish lady. I should probably be done for the day.

Packing list. I started journaling again so hopefully I can keep it up. I know this is something I want to do and I feel good when I can, I just have to force myself to make time.

Horny TF idea of the day: an alien organism that exists as a bacterial slime that represents reproduces by changing other species into a form that it can have a symbiotic / parasitic relationship with - males mate w/ females who lay eggs full of more bacterial slime, which changes more folks, etc.

The strength of the link for me between feeling good and working out is so mind blowingly straightforward that it's extremely silly for me not to do it every day I physically can

So we ditched WWE and with the ten bucks a month I'm saving I picked up VRV, so now we have funimation and crunchyroll! I'm in weeb heaven.

I started watching haruhi while I exercise, haha. I missed this show when it came out (I was going through my college 'anime sucks actually' phase) so I'm interested to see why it was such a big deal.

Yo, has anyone read the southern reach trilogy? I might pick up the first book tomorrow to read on the plane.

So here's the progress on KR
1) finished both versions of the cover
2) set up an indesign file w/ all the pages dummied in until the art gets placed
3) edited the manuscript for the story that goes in the adult version (thanks @kotep for marking up the original many months ago)
4) wrote the interview that goes in both versions

I've basically been living the entire winter at home so far in therian's big college sweatshirt and it's so comfy and perfect. The boyfriend sweatshirt is my most heteronormative favorite thing, hahaha
