@tomharris I used Downcast for a long time and was happy enough with it, but Overcast is more easily navigable and has more features.

@staticsafe@mastodon.zombocloud.com @inmysocks Something I learned the hard way: if you do disable iMessage, then everyone who has you as a contact on an iOS device will need to delete your contact and re-create it. (Until they do, their messages to you will fail.) I did this, and (to me) it was worth it get iMessages out of my life.
@tomharris @envgen Every day people go on the internet for the first time, and haven't yet adorable cats requesting fast food in broken misspelled English. The harvest is great and the laborers few.
@indi This summer I finally learned how to have multiple files open in Vim and switch between them, and that really made me feel like I could settle into this.
