So my day job is to add telemetry to our application. Basically so that when you use it, we get events that fire about what you're doing, how the app is performing, etc.

It's not the most prestigious coding job, because the real prestige is reserved for the people making the code that actually does things. Doing that is usually harder than what I do, so my code is much simpler than the main devs.

So my code reviews tend to sit for a while. I could keep working but then things get messy, so I only do it to one level of recursion. So you get this down time like right now.

There's things I can do, but they will eventually run into me waiting. If I don't wait now, I'll wait a week from now, same difference.
It's annoying, but eh, people have way worse jobs.
Anyway, felt like sharing to kill some time.

However, the devs need to review my code before I check in, because it's part of the product, and if I do it wrong, it could break things. However, they're super busy with doing their own code and their own reviews.
