It didn't turn out great, but it was an interesting experiment. I should not have picked a song in 3/4 time.

So for tonight's beat I'm going to try and make chip hop out of classical music (really baroque) I have a MIDI of.

Everything will be chip sounds including the drums, but I'm not sticking to any limitations of the chip (SID, if you're wondering).

Gonna play bass, it's been like two months.

I think I'll wait until Tuesday to schedule, it's Labor Day after all.

My current therapist is retiring and he's referred me to an actual sex therapist, so that would be an interesting change.

I'd like to do this from home if I could, but sadly I'm a contractor so no remote access for me.

There's things I can do, but they will eventually run into me waiting. If I don't wait now, I'll wait a week from now, same difference.

It's annoying, but eh, people have way worse jobs.

Anyway, felt like sharing to kill some time.

So my code reviews tend to sit for a while. I could keep working but then things get messy, so I only do it to one level of recursion. So you get this down time like right now.

However, the devs need to review my code before I check in, because it's part of the product, and if I do it wrong, it could break things. However, they're super busy with doing their own code and their own reviews.

It's not the most prestigious coding job, because the real prestige is reserved for the people making the code that actually does things. Doing that is usually harder than what I do, so my code is much simpler than the main devs.

So my day job is to add telemetry to our application. Basically so that when you use it, we get events that fire about what you're doing, how the app is performing, etc.

So I'm waiting for a code review so I can submit code for a code review so I can wait for a code review so I can submit code for a...

I guess I'm waiting on a code review because I don't want to get too deep into juggling git branches.
