my parents were here for four days, and they are very nice people.

but... i have to be on guard.

i'm not out, and there are a lot of bad memories there. i can even see the cracks in the myths they've created about their own parents-- i now realize my grandma could be heartbreakingly cruel to her only daughter.

anyway all of this is a long way of saying i'm exhausted and a little fucked up after their departure.
