just got word from my friend who works for TPL (and who has a trans daughter) that the TPL Palmerston branch is allowing the hosting of Meghan Murphy on October 29th, and flyers are being posted around the city

i'ma be up tonight and the weather is good, so i'll be looking for them, but if you live in Toronto, you need to let TPL be aware the approval to let Murphy hold an event on TPL grounds is in contravention of TPL's own use policies under §4.4(a)(i–ii): torontopubliclibrary.ca/terms-

social, space 

i'm not sure i can online enough to have friends in cyberspace.

maybe it's my age, but my use of online spaces was about escaping social pressures. tumblr was ideal because i could engage but still have some distance.

when it became clear how isolated i was in meatspace i tried to be more social online. but in some ways it's harder and i get burned out faster.

it takes time to make friends, to build trust, but my attention seems even more fractured and relationships fleeting.
