uspol, Meta (the company)

Meta has categorized the group Jane's Revenge which has been carrying out acts of vandalism against so called "pregnancy crisis centers" as a terrorist group. This puts it internally on the same level as ISIS or open Nazi groups:

Is there a single place where one can see printed samples of most of the ibm selectric typefaces online?

My Google-Fu isn't helping me much.

boosts welcome

@confusedcharlot I was mostly in it for the watching and didn't plan well enough to have my better cameras charged, but I did end up successfully pointing my smartphone camera through my telescope to get a few decent shots!

Here are a few more or less at random, I might put together an animation or something later, we'll see!

@confusedcharlot Portland was socked in with clouds, so I drove out to the other side of the mountains to get out from under them.

Bonus shots: a cloud passing in front of the half-eclipsed moon, the mostly-visible moon reflecting in the river, and a shot of sunset at the replica Stonehenge where I set up 🙂

if we assume from now on that google can't source good info, it may be time to move to a "have a collection of reputable sites and use their internal search, or use site:domain"

who's going to write the deep dive on the parallels between longtermism and early 20th century european futurism?

excuse me, this is my emotional support girlfriend

Been trying to read a "book" on "paper back" for nearly the first time since switching hard to ebooks in the mid-10s somewhere and finding myself surprisingly annoyed with the experience. The print is too small. If you don't specifically exert force to keep the book open it closes. Dubious UX design
