@VioletPixel i feel like i held back a lot of what i posted on twitter because of the huge audience; i know i talked to aleen about some of it over imessage but most of what i said was on my alt

@VioletPixel yeah that is the plan; as this was a first visit i’m surprised that i got a narcotic script at all. dr would like to avoid harder drugs if possible but we will see based on my tolerance levels

so my new script is 50mg tramadol 2x daily and it is taking the edge off but i’ve been hit by drowsiness and minor dizziness so far and this is not ideal but better than agonizing pain

@wickedgood idk, there seems to be a set of cycles that are much more expensive than recent cycles and also older cycles (all being out of print)

the variability in pricing of mtg booster boxes based on cycle is really throwing me for a loop. i just want some good aesthetic cards to make quirky decks with please :(

once again, for people in the back: accessibility doesn’t mean making accommodations on a case by case basis. it isn’t what is most feasible for you.

@Aleen so from the page it seems to imply that if i’m a speaker and in a wheelchair, i wont be able to be “on” a panel, or the size of the conference space so i can figure out what kind of mobility accommodations i might need. this seems to want to handle everything on a case-by-case basis, which isn’t how accessibility works at all

@Aleen i have real complicated feelings about how this is communicated tbh; like, it doesn’t tell me anything and puts the onus of all accessibility on the individual being able to communicate needs
