Like fucking clockwork... another 6 months, another job lost because my "customer service" wasn't good enough for them. Wish there were jobs available that aren't hell for autistic people, but I guess post-Fordism just wants me to die instead!

Madoka is a series that - on its own merits - has really good character design and character dynamics. It's... fine.
But it still has problems, and those problems relate directly to the genre it attempted to "subvert", and the effect it has had on said genre, in turn.
