Yo uh we're like $400 short on the rent (let alone any other bills), nothing has bitten yet for work for any of us, and the state decided to jerk me around with unemployment. Again. Last time they did that, it took them 40 days to resolve it. Let's just say I'm not hopeful they're going to fix it anytime soon, especially with the holidays.
I've had everyone in the house apply for SNAP so we can eat.
I've asked for a hell of a lot from y'all. And I'm tired of asking. But we probably won't hear back from anyone about work until after Christmas at this point. In desperation we've been seeing if the family would help us, but the response is not what I would call promising.
If y'all could help us pay the rent that would be fantastic. I know how bad times are... =s
