cws as default would be rad. I wish there were more front end features to make cws feel less cumbersome though. I'd love to have a way to say 'expand all cws automatically except if they contain these keywords' (or vise-versa). and expanding all the toots with the same content warning in a thread at the same time.

training a neural network to predict phonetic similarity vectors for words based solely on their orthography (i.e., not in cmudict). the neural network is only at about 20% accuracy but the results are already promising! showing the most similar word in cmudict here just as a sanity check... https://mastodon.social/media/0bYSIQWCv3HrViu9CuM (context: https://github.com/aparrish/phonetic-similarity-vectors)

So discussing poverty and putting off fixing household things with a few people because you can't afford it, and @nico suggested setting up something where people who have the ability can do repairs and maintenance and stuff for those who can't otherwise afford it. Use the hashtag #fixmystuff if you have services you can offer - tools, knowledge, skill - or if you have something you need fixed. Don't forget to mention your general worldly location too! ^.^
I hate doing this but i’ve gotta get some unexpected ($$$) dental work done so if you’ve wanted to buy something from my threadless store now would be a super great time to do it!
anyway, I made a new game: http://justtypestuff.com/
@spinach@witches.town yeah, I don't think I can ever feel 100% okay about this place. not sure if you heard but the privacy stuff changed a little bit at least. 2.0 and up uses activitypub which a least understands private messages and private messages aren't sent to ostatus any more. still a lot more to go though
