Horrifying thought about war/conflict
People say that war is bad. But in order for a conflict to be visible, the two (or more, but that's very rare) sides must be relatively evenly matched.
An unfair fight is invisible. A nation with a police force and an army, prevents any other power system from getting a foothold. While there is no civil war, you don't even hear about alternative armies/alternative government systems, except as abstract ideas.
The same can be said about dominant ideas.

I'm not advocating we listen to cis white (etc) men who already have all the privilege. Their ideas are *already* dominant.
It's the thoughts of people who are oppressed, that don't get published.
Women and nonbinary people, people of colour, people who aren't straight, autistic people, people who don't have money. But these are just examples we KNOW about, because some of them have enough privilege in other areas to be able to complain.
