re: harsh rwby critique, "macaroni art"

@heatherhorns RWBY is to mid-to-late 2010s indie animation what the major webcomics of the early 2000s were to early 2000s webcomics. They show potential and a lot of people get into it because it’s all that’s available, but hopefully something better will come along and get more attention by merits of being good rather than just being there.

re: harsh rwby critique, "macaroni art"

@heatherhorns I have tried to enjoy RWBY and I just can’t get into it, and I really do not see what’s so great about it. And watching criticism/synopsis videos of it tell me that RWBY really is the Penny Arcade or Sluggy Freelance of anime. It was there early on and it got fans by merit of being there at th eright time, but it’s never had a particularly good plan and if it were to start out today it’d have to be a LOT better to get the following that it has.
