so help me, I'm finally watching Cats
it isn't very good
HBO release the butthole cut you cowards
it's totally wild to me that historically cinematographers have gone to great lengths to avoid camera artifacts like lens flares and so on, and then here we go with a fully-virtual camera production where they go out of their way to add those back in to make it look more realistic
except they look really fake
this one cat's collar is like floating over his neck and it's so friggin distracting
also do they really need to do this thing in shakycam with a crapton of quick cuts that make it hard to even follow the action?
like I'm no filmmaker or anything but I'm pretty sure that neither were the people who made this
this one cat just unzipped her skin and fur and pulled it off revealing clothing underneath
also everyone is really horny but in an unsettling way
okay I feel like I can only watch this while high and surrounded by friends. slightly buzzed and alone is no way to watch this movie. I should switch to something I actually enjoy.
