I want to get better at mixing. What are the good sites for reading up on this stuff?

@photex In a realtime context or an audio production/recording context? For the latter I have a bunch of quick shortcuts to achieving crushing adequacy which I should probably write up someday.

@fluffy I'd love to read those notes sometime after you've put them up someplace!
I'm interested in both realtime and "offline" I guess. But at the moment I'm thinking about how I can make sure my sound designs and musical ideas can just start sounding better.

@photex for both things a good starting point is to give everything its own little place in the audio spectrum. Notch EQ is the most powerful mixing tip that I can share.

@photex sidechain compression is also good to have, although that's less prevalent in realtime engines.
