KF: Do you know what's reasonable? What if we make it look like glip is mean for leaving their husband. Actually maybe the divorce is fake. All those bad things we think about their husband don't matter anymore. This is clearly an act to save face. Blame glip. Nevermind him.

KF: Well actually, that's very tasteless. Who gets married immediately after leaving someone. Wow. It's definitely got to be fake. This came out of nowhere. I can't think of any other possible explanation except it must be fake.

you CANNOT believe a website where there is no motivation to tell the truth, no punishment for lying. you cannot. people love to lie, love to twist stories, love to fit in.
you CANNOT believe a website where people's primary motivation is making others feel bad. the easiest way to do that is to outright lie about them. the worse the lie, the worse the feelings. and then they prey on you being silent about it. on you not exposing them for what they're doing.

you have to examine motivations. you have to think about WHY people participate in this stuff.
KF doesn't let people go back on things they say. everyone is encouraged to be as bitter and vitriolic as possible. you can't defend people, you can't correct things, you can't be wrong, you can't be sympathetic, or you're the next target. of COURSE people want to blend in with that so they don't have to face it, NO ONE wants to face it

(flees my house because creepy harassment levels are going off the fucking charts and stalkers believing dangerous lies is at an all-time high, so I don't feel safe in my own home)
KF: Wow. They must have fled for a reason. Only guilty people flee. We were right, guys. Time to find out where they're living next and dox them there, too. This makes us the good guys. Just trying to spread helpful info. Only guilty people don't want harmful strangers knowing their address IRL.
