wildlife rehab: baby bird feeding (training edition)

CW covers the context! feeding baby birds looks like it's going to be particularly interesting and satisfying for me, though we'll see how I feel about it after a couple of months--I expect I'll be happy to get back to the variety of tasks upstairs once August rolls around. we have a couple of "mystery jellybeans" in the nursery that are "probably crows," though nobody knows for sure, but they're *big*--6" long?--and *hungry*. XD

I got to hand-feed a couple of juncos and robin fledglings, I learned about crops, and I skipped the paperwork and t-shirt session at the end because done that, got one. :D all the raccoons and bear cubs have been released, btw, and the bobkittens are scheduled for release Friday! right now they've got a couple of short-tailed weasels which I will probably never get to glimpse. XD
