@kara Here is the thing I wrote about #Gaiman and #Hel and #Fenrir and #Jormundgandr and #Angrbodha and #Loki and tbh #Odin too. I tried to adequately CW it for making explicit the elements that Neil is somehow too sheltered to have spotted but which matter a great deal to me both as a trauma bab and a woman and a sibling, but I wanted to reemphasize them.

THANK YOU for validating my opinion of Tyr's SHITTY BEHAVIOR that gets his hand bitten off like he *fucking deserved*. and the general asshole nature of the Aesir and their whole thing with Loki. I love this and will keep it and I will *not* print it out and put it under my pillow because that would make it hard to re-read someday. <333

@green @kara The whole situation was just massively upsetting. I get the impression that if Tyr had either had better superiors (or more personal integrity, since it's not like nobody in this pantheon ever tells their boss to fuck off & gets away with it bc it does totally happen) he'd have been a much harder target for douchebag Norns who wanted him to lose a hand.
But he didn't! 🙃 So here everyone is. Many failures got us here.
