I'm seeing conflicting reports of whether Bannon is really "out" or is being strategically and willingly relocated. the only way to know for sure is if the tenor of the Breitbart media garbage changes. if it becomes hostile to 45, then yes, he was fired. if not, then the mucus trail is still connected, and he's still a powerful influence on 45's administration, even if he isn't physically present in the House itself.

if it becomes hostile, even THAT could be a calculated move in a way -- if the determination was that "too much" racism isn't okay but they may think that the super loud racists decrying the administration will make the administration seem more sympathetic somehow
but I think it's likely that Bannon's just fed up with not getting as much race war as he wanted, TBH
