glanced out the window in time to see Scruffy* trotting rapidly across the field. zie's from the old pack, so I'm hopeful that means the rest of the pack is still around somewhere.
* it might have been a different coyote--with the same messed-up tail, grey markings like a husky, and general overall scruffiness--but it seems more likely it's the same Scruffy.

yep, that's definitely Scruffy--zie came back and was trotting around the field while being scolded by crows. yay Scruffy!
