though I tell you what would be fan-hecking-tastic on this: fresh-grated Parmesan cheese. I have developed a taste for it and never regretted it. except for the times when I don't have it available and have to use the "pre-grated cheese in a bottle" which is equivalent to sublimating a craving for sushi by eating fish sticks.
