I don't know if consent is a good framework for spirituality. There are already a bunch of assumptions about the nature of identity encoded in that word, and the very freedom to question that is necessary in will work transcends the traditional ideas of identity and thus the transactional style relationship that the word conjures.
How can we consent to the ineffable? We can not know the risks. The only choice we have is seeking. Sometimes, not even that.
