@turbodragon@computerfairi.es recommend "The Dispossessed" by Ursula LeGuin. I'm reading it now, and it describes a working anarchist society, in a very matter-of-fact way that makes it seems not only believable, but *easier* than the alternatives. I'm only halfway through it, though, so it might take a Sudden Twist but given ULG's beliefs I really doubt it. XD

@turbodragon@computerfairi.es "Always Coming Home" (same author) also has a semi-utopian anarchic society, but it's pretty specific and "primitive," plus the book is kind of difficult to get through, so it's not necessarily a good way to introduce the idea...
